I have 2 x Roland Fantom XR and 1 x Roland Sonicell sound modules that are used with a DAW through USB MIDI interface. The drivers all operated under Windows 7 x64 but does not load under Windows 10 as they are not digitally signed for Windows 10.

  • Fantom-XR System Update Version 2.02

    This is the latest version 2 update for the Fantom-XR. Your Fantom-XR MUST be running Version 2.00 in order to use this update. Please refer to the readme.pdf for the update procedure.
    This update resolves USB Storage related issues.
    NOTE: The update files that you download and save to your computer from the link above are enclosed in a compressed zip file. These files will need to be extracted from the zip file before you can burn them to a CD. You can do this by using the WinZip application on your PC running Windows XP, or by using Stuffit Expander on your Macintosh (needed for OS 10.2.x or below). If you're using Mac OS X 10.3.x or above, then you will not need Stuffit Expander.
    When you double-click on the downloaded file that you saved to your computer, WinZip or Stuffit Expander should startup automatically. If you do not have WinZip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac) installed, then you must download it, install it, and extract/unzip the update files folder before you can complete the update procedure.

I got a new computer and had trouble getting a fantom g midi driver working. I did a search here and found a post with a patch called roladdriverpatcher which was the final step in a multi step process. I went back to thank the poster but searched and searched and couldn't find the post. So I decided to make another post so that others might be able to find the patch easier. Here are the steps please search for each step as these are not the complete instructions .
1. Turn off UEFI secure boot through BIOS
2. Look up how to put windows 10 into test mode (bcdedit)
3. turn off driver signing (reboot and hold down shift key, etc )Fantom X Driver
